As I hope you are already aware, Gateway A.B.C has been planning a restructure of its training sessions to incorporate the GB National Boxing Awards. All our coaches have now successfully completed the training course and are now qualified to deliver the programme.

This to inform you that we are planning to go live with this programme from 1st Dec 2014. Please ensure that you purchase your child's student book from the club prior to the commencement date as the course is compulsory for all our junior members up to age 18. Books are prices at £20 and include the first three parts of the awards with certificates and medals.

We are also changing our session nights. From 1st Dec classes will be held on Tuesday's & Thursday's from 6.30 – 7.30pm for the younger class, and 7.30 – 8.30pm for the older class.

Assessments will be held on Wednesday's and students will be personally informed when they are ready.

We hope to keep our costs the same at £15 p/mth, however this may increase if it is deemed necessary to keep the club afloat.

We are also planning to have boxing equipment and club clothing for sale and recommend that children at least have their own gloves.

This is a positive step forward for Gateway A.B.C and we hope that all our members will reap the benefits of the awards programme and try their level best to attain the highest award possible. Please look out for further information on the website.
